Busy Bee

You guys have no idea how many unfinished blog drafts are in here right now. I don't know when or how I became so busy. Sometimes I am too busy to eat dinner before rushing to dance class! But I am updating. Just for the sake of updating;) I know my blog is SUPER fascinating and all... so begin your excitement!

First I'd like to explain why I am so busy... 1. full time job

Wow. I had no idea how time consuming just going to work everyday would be. I love it, don't get me wrong, but suddenly I have little time for anything else.

2. piano lessons
Ah, the love/hate lessons... I decided to take on six students this year! The most I've ever had at a time is three, so basically I just doubled my numbers. I love watching the kids getting better, and really learning new stuff. It does make me happy, but GUUHHH! There goes three days of the week. Also, I'm sure you all know what a wonderful musician I am (sarcasm), so being at a piano for three hours a week is not my favorite sometimes:)

3. Dance
This year I've taken quite a bit of dance as well. Two hours for myself on Monday Two hours of teaching on Tuesday, one hour of teaching on Wednesday, and one more hour for me on Thursday... OOoops! That is basically six hours of dance a week, not including all the at home practice and choreography I have to get done.

So that is my life. It is a great life to be living! I love my job. I'm way good at it apparently... and I love teaching, and dancing, and being with my students. Basically I get to do everything I love, and most of the time get paid to do it!
On the weekends I spend my time doing more things I love, like gardening, watching shows with Emma, hanging out with friends, and teaching in primary. I sometimes am not sure why I am so lucky.

Halloween is also coming up. I am super super excited. I am sure you all know how much I love this holiday already. My costume is my favorite, and I just love getting into the spirit of spookiness, and free candy! We already had the annual Fotheringham family party and it was so fun. My cousins all had awesome costumes on, I still can't believe Maura made her own! And there was so much good food and good time to be had. Anyway, I will let you know how the rest of my year goes at some later time...

  2. I hope I am writing in the right place. The first song is my favorite too. I really liked the trumpet violin duet, you don't see that much. Didn't like that version of lo how a rose. Your research is great loved reading the histories.
