Little Places

So here we are. Back to school. I thought since I am returning to Westminster's fine halls I would do a little tribute. These are all the little places on and off campus I both love and hate.

This is the Bridge. It stretches over the stream that runs through all of Sugarhouse.

The Bridge and I have a love/hate thing going on. It is simply the most beautiful place on campus. Yet, if a single drop of water gets on the floor of it... you are going down! It is the slipperiest thing. On rainy days all the students grasp the rails and clumsily slip off to class.

Our First President (My first crush?)

haha just kidding. George and I go way back. I nod every time I pass by and I think sometimes he winks when feeling whimsical.

The View from the Bridge

I love this view. It reminds me of the movie "The Village". And I love the big windows of the library. When sitting on the couches near the windows in the library, the view is even more spectacular.

Haunted House

There is a tiny house that I pass by everyday I walk to campus. I think it is haunted. It is completely covered in ivy and when the windows glow through the ivy it is super spooky.

Telephone pole

This is near the Institute parking lot where I park. I just laugh to myself when I go by the leaning telephone pole. Why did people just asphalt it in? I guess that was the only place they could put it...


The Stairs

Do you remember last fall*(see what I did there?) when I lived in SLC and I fell down a flight of stairs? Well this is they. Look at the lack of handrails and the steep angle of the steps! I couldn't walk right for a week. Oh stairs, oh stairs what hast thou donest?
